Dry Skin Help!

I have very dry skin and am constantly looking for the next lotion or miracle to make the itch go away. I have found some very good products, but my skin loves them for a while then suddenly it seems they do not work as well. I still use witch hazel (with aloe vera). I discovered that one of my cheap spray nozzles fit the top of my bottle of witch hazel so that I can mist my body after my shower. It is then that I need to use something to help the itch of back, shins and arms. Lately, I have little itchy spots and had a very small persistent spot on the top side of my wrist. I was walking through our natural food store the other day just looking for a simple, natural lotion. My eyes see a little bottle of marula oil (brand Acure) on display. Since they had a tester, I tried it. It was a very light oil and I thought hmmm, but did notice that the white crusty skin was gone. I think that I originally had a small burn there that I could not get to go away. I was impressed with the way the spot looked. Five days, two showers, many hand washes and dishes later the white crust has NOT come back and the spot continues to fade. I am super impressed!!

“Marula oil is extracted from the kernels (nuts) of the Marula tree (Sclerocarya birrea), from the Anacardiaceae family. Marula oil is traditionally used in cosmetics, in food as a cooking oil and as a meat preservative and to treat leather. The Tsonga people of South Africa and Mozambique have used the oil as a moisturizing body lotion for women and also as a massage oil for babies. In the past, women used Marula oil rather than water to clean themselves.  [4]” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marula_oil
This was the brand I tried in the health food store. Amazon said it so well, I thought I would just copy and paste their product description. The great thing about this oil is it is sustainable, organic and helps the South African women who craft it. I am eagerly awaiting my order of this oil to apply to the other small itchy places I could not put it on using the tester.
