Relora

Used by the Chinese herbal medicine specialists for helping people relax through normalizing the adrenal hormones.  It is also used to reduce the over-eating imbalances usually caused by stress.

A study at the Living Longer Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio has validated the stress reduction benefits of Relora.

Relora is a non-narcotic, non-sedative extract from two plants, the Magnolia and the Philodendron.  These two extracts when combined create mood elevation, relaxation and freedom from anxiety.  Since Relora is non-sedative, it does not cause daytime drowsiness but does alleviate insomnia.

A side benefit is weight-loss.  This is due to the stress reduction and the elimination of the stress-related eating habits.

There are no known side effects for Relora.

There are warnings however.

  1. Not recommended in pregnant women and nursing mothers;
  2. Not recommended in people that are being administered MAOI or any other anxiety-depression medications;
  3. Not recommended in people with any auto-immune disease and are on prescription medication for the same.
  4. Alcohol and caffeine should be avoided since they counteract its calming effect.

About Gary

I am retired, but not tired. I still want to be valuable to others. I know that others are valuable to me. After looking back on six decades, I have asked myself this question: “What do I believe?” My mind filled up. My heart started beating faster. My spirit soared. I post blogs to share what my mind is working on, what my heart believes would help others and, what my spirit is communicating to me. What do I believe, you ask? Decisions dictate your path In love, not hate In tolerance, not prejudice In health, not sickness In wealth, not poverty In kindness, rudeness In happiness, not sadness In encouragement, not discouragement In faith, not doubt In courage, not fear I have been and will be challenged in each one of these beliefs, but the biggest belief is to stay positive and not turn negative. This belief helps me maintain all of the others.
