Last night I could not fall asleep—happens maybe three times a month—(I have guessed at the reasons, but have not figured it out). But the best that comes out of this is this. I spend a lot of time being thankful. Rather than fret, why not spend my unsleeping being thankful. So for my blog today, I am going to list as many things as I can that I am thankful for. Thank you, Lord that you are in my heart and life.
Thank you for my life partner. I am so thankful that I went to work in Estes Park after my freshman year in college. I am thankful that he came from Holyoke, CO to work in the same place as me. He was not the first guy I dated in Estes Park, but I am so glad that we finally got together. Thank you for him.
Thank you for my wonderful children and grandchildren. Thank you that our oldest found her friend to be the love of her life. I thank you for him. Thank you for my oldest son and the wonderful grandchildren he has given us. Thank you for all the trials that we have gone through with him because it has made us grow. Thank you for our youngest daughter and her daughter. I thank you that she has made it through an abusive relationship and that you have a grand future for her and her daughter. I thank you that you can work it out. Thank you for our youngest son who helps us with all our computer problems and physical help needs. Thank you for planning him even though we did not. Thank you for our grandchildren. They bless me so much! Thank you that you watch over them.
Thank you that I have my health. Thank you that I do not have to take any prescription medicine and that you have brought so much knowledge to my attention about good food and natural medicines that can do the healing and keep me healthy.
Thank you for all the trials and tribulations that have come our way, they have made us see how we can come through and still be happy and thankful.
Thank you for the sun, moon, and stars and the beauty each is and what each brings to our lives.
Thank you for our home and the good times we have had in it. Thank you for the jobs we have had. Thank you for providing for us in all our needs.
This is just a tiny thank you, because I have so much to be thankful for.
