Spread the love

By Marilyn, on March 20th, 2013

My last posts have seemed necessary for me to post and a little negative,  so I am going to put some quotes on today.

“There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world.  Love of books is the best of all.”  Jacqueline Kennedy

“Faith is the bird that feels the light when the dawn is still dark.” Rabindranath Tangore

“What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”  Jane Goodall

“Forgiveness is above all a personal choice, a decision of the heart to go against the natural instinct to pay back evil with evil.”  Pope John Paul III

Hard one for me this week, to forgive the untrue, unkind comments made about someone I love.  This was worth my anger for one day, only one day.  The one hurtful things were said about was above it.  This made me lose the anger.

“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”  Mark Twain

“To believe in something and not live it, is dishonest”  Gandhi

Reason for some of my posts.

“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.”

“If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”

“People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.

For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”

Mother Teresa

“Out of clutter find simplicity.  From discord, find harmony.  In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.”  Albert Einstein

This is where I need to be now.  In the middle of the difficulty, to seize an opportunity to move forward and create.
