To restate from a previous post:

“It is a tough term to define.  It varies much:  for each person, each family, each business, etc.”

It is all perception, perception, perception!  You must determine your perception of wealth before you can do anything about your reality of wealth.

For example – if your perception of wealth is to have enough money to buy whatever you need.  Your wealth reality will be to have enough cash in your pocket to do just that.  That may not be enough for you.  If you do not want that as your reality, then you will need to adjust your – wait for it –

PERCEPTION OF WEALTH.

Or – if your perception of wealth is to grow your cash flow (defined by total income – total expenses) by 15%, then you will have a system whereby you can control your expenses and manage your income streams.  Again, if you do not want that as your reality, then you will need to adjust your – wait for it –

PERCEPTION OF WEALTH.

Having a certain perception of wealth will eventually determine a certain wealth reality.

My grand-daughters have the idea that having enough money to go shopping for toys, shoes, clothes, candy, etc. makes you wealthy.  Their reality of being wealthy is having what I call CIF – Cash-In-Fist.

Several years ago, a friend of mine perceived wealth as buying and hoarding gold and silver and hiding it on his property.  His reality of wealth was to have enough assets to protect him, personally,  from a federal financial collapse.

One of my previous employers perceived wealth as having a high enough personal line of credit with his bank which would allow him to do any real estate deal he wanted to by just exercising the line of credit.  His reality of wealth was to have a very high credit score and a really good relationship with his banker.

Another employer’s perception of wealth was to have a very successful local company.  His wealth reality was to have a top-notch sales staff and support professionals to back the sales department.

Your perception of wealth will determine your thoughts about wealth and that will lead you to a belief system concerning wealth and that will reveal your wealth reality.

If you find yourself dis-liking your wealth reality, then you MUST change your perception about wealth.
