How do you respond when someone approaches you with an investment opportunity? Say your friends come to you and ask if you could partner with them on buying a rental unit.
Do you say, “Not right now, my cash level is too low” or “I don’t have enough money to do that” or “I can’t use my hard earned savings for that type of risk?”
Stop and listen to the words you are using: Not, I don’t, I can’t. Those are resistance type words; they are defining your life. By using these words you limit your wealth opportunities. In fact, you actually shut down the wealth opportunities.
When approached with a wealth opportunity, overcome using the resistance words and use possibility words.
You can say, “That’s an interesting opportunity, let me take a look at the financials” or “I have some savings right now that I can use for that, I’ll take a look at it.”
Now listen to the words you are using: let me, I have, I can. These are possibility words that can open up great wealth potential for your life.
When approaching wealth opportunities use possibility words – they will change your life.
